Default 1995 Civic Si knock sensor

I own a '95 Civic Si with a JR supercharger. As I have had some difficulty with detonation, I have purchased a J&S Electronics Safeguard unit. The unit needs to be connected to the engine knock sensor, however, I do not know if I in fact have one. I have a factory Honda service manual, and can find no mention anywhere of a knock sensor. The J&S instruction sheet shows a diagram of the Honda ECU with a wire for the knock sensor. I believe that it should be labeled ECM (engine Control Module) as it is shown in my manual. In any case, the description for the functions of the ECM in the manual are quite detailed, and say nothing of any knock sensor. So, I would like to know if anyone can shed some light on this.
Thanks,
Ross
