the 18g is good for low and midrange... topend still sucks ***** IMO, but good numbers non-the less. the 18g must be an uber fun street turbo

Do you still have the greddy elbow? I'm curerntlky building an LS block to go under my b16 head. I just blew my b16 the other week I'll be running forged internals, but stock sleeves. 81.5. I'm looking to max out the 2.5 bar map sensor, and expecting numbers close to what your making. What kind of motor is ithis in? Thanks!

I bet your torque and HP are about 100-150 different too huh?

the car is daily driven and is basically perfect for stop and go traffic and daily driver. and the turbo doesn't have much left in it, but it will do more on race gas.

I still use the greddy cast elbow and wastegate. didn't even port it. it makes 1.2 bar very early (around torque peak) and then falls off to 1 bar by redline. I dunno if it is because of head flow over flowing the exhaust manin and piping or if it is the turbo or wastegate. either way this was a heat soaked dyno run so I am sure it is making a little more when it is on the street.

either way the curves are awesome and the turbo achieved right what I wanted it to.

my motor is a B18C sleeved 81mm block, itr head, cams, TB, IM and valve train

I bet your torque and HP are about 100-150 different too huh? lol I trapped 3mph slower than you on street tires with my little 18G and you are saying I am not proving anything with a full interior ITR with AC and PS

water injection you might get more because it will let you give it more timing. I think we stopped at 18 degrees timing on my tune. it was definatly heat soaked too(36 pulls) so I think 325 is well within reason with air actually going over the IC instead of a small fan.

should change the title to something less threatening...300hp out of a 18g really isnt nothing new...it's good though

I was thinking about that stuff over winter. for now the torque curve is awesome and like I said heat soaking I am sure chewed up some of the power to be had. It definatly has more power than last year. with 225/50/15 BFG's it is right on the edge of traction. I am goin to try to get to the track a week from today to see how it does cause power means nothing, times mean everything

not a beater but a driver. it is parked in the winter(if you lived here you would understand that road crews suck) but from the end of march to November I drive the car everyday and usually put 10k miles on it a year so it is perfect for what I need

actually it might do well on that motor. most B20/Vtecs are being pushed over 8k anyway so if you want a nice fat torque curve for road courses and stuff this is a great turbo.

it really does make boost fast it is a fun car...you don't have to be at 8k to feel it. by 3500 or so it is pulling pretty nice

full boost right where vtec crosses is nice too

Good job sam I'm very impressed with the numbers the car produced just because its not 400hp+ noone wants to give you props but I will. The car runs really well went 12.9 116 last year on a crap fuel management setup, its only gonna do better now with hondata and a good tune by Jay.
