14b, -3an feed, restrictor valve?
I have a 14b with unknown miles on it, and minimal shaft play, which I was told the seals are good in and its in good condition. It looks to be that way, but I don't want to hook it up and have it smoke like a bitch.
So my question is, most people run restricter valves on turbo's they think the seals might be going in, or might not be top notch, so it doesn't smoke, or just to prevent blowing the seals(correct me if I am wrong). So should I run one, or will the -3an feed be less enough oil pressure for the seals?

I would run one, for just get a machine shop to put a smaller jet inside the oil inlet fitting. (Thats what i did) I thought that my turbo was getting to much, but turned out that the oil drain wasnt big enough. I bought a t3 and was said to be rebuilt like 10,xxx miles before taken off the car, it still smokes a little when i first start it up.

It's not the pressure that's effected, it's the flow.
Many of my customers use used junkyard turbo's, and I don't recommend using a restrictor valve unless they're having smoking issues. Many 14B, T3, and T25 junkyard turbo's have been running with full oil pressure, so it doesn't seem to be needed unless there are issues with the seals.
On new turbo's, run em if the manufacturer suggests it.

Cool man, thanks
I also have another question. I have an oil pan with a -10an male fitting welded onto it, but I don't have a fitting for the end of the return line in your oil line kit. Do you guys sell those fittings or can you get it for me?
