when i was using a greddy turbo kit for the b16, i ran a 13.2 on 17" street tires making a little under 250 whp. that was with a lot of wheel spin. i ran 13.6 with 20 inch MT slicks, I/H/E and a zex 50 shot. both runs are full interior. the nitrous run was with all my tools and street tires in the car too.

right now its about 14.4 i only ran on the track once and it was a shitty run, but like i said my motor is going into a 97 coupe so i will have to make extra power to stay were im at now or to reach my goal of low 13s

get a gsr swap with boltons and skunk stage 1 cams and youll run mid to high 13s all night long, i ran 13.6s 13.7s on street tires all day long in a eg coupe, an ek shouldnt be to far off

Re: 13s civic (nihad)
the motor was a stock d16y8, had a small DSM intercooler mounted on the passanger side, motor was pretty much maxed out, it gave out after a couple months of him driving it, he had 3" downpipe 3" exhaust, everything was kind of taken to the max with the setup and thats why it didnt really last too long. When he ran it he was using falken azenis's

i got a d16a6 built with z6 head crower springs retainers. I am putting in some mile on my engine before I turbo it. THe compression is 7.7 to 1. Arias. ALso just got my apexi exhaust on my ef hatch holy **** it sounds like a stock rsx. Wish i had it long time ago. I had a stupid fat can. Now i can actually hear my engine. And it has the honda tick. Hope i can get in to the 12s

Im Pretty sure you will get into the 12's, traction is probably going to be the only issue. Since your motor is built, just shoot for anything above 220whp and your car will be capable of hitting 12s, if all the other factors are good like track conditions and driving skills you should be okay

so your saying any civic out there with 220whp will hit 12s even a 99-00 civic si fully loaded with all the factor options?

a local car around here hit 12.8 with a 4dr EK... stock GSR motor with nitrous...
and did it consistantly.... with slicks of course...
anything is possible

on a 75 shot i see this perfectly normal for a well put together, well running and well driven setup.

No, im saying an 88-91 civic hatch or crx with 220whp+ will hit 12s with all the other factors in his favor

A car like an old HF that only weighs 2000 or so pounds with the driver in it would move pretty fast with 220 whp.
