You could stick with your D. 13's wont be hard to achieve.

10k and only mid-high 13s. I would have a 11sec goal for 10k.

I say get some neon windshield washer lights, carbon fiber look altezzas, 40 spoke daytons with spinners, a body kit (the most gaudy you can find), bondo up your side moldings, tons of Mugen and RS akimoto stickers, chain link steering wheel and license plate cover. That should about cover it.

spend ~4 on a kit and managment, you should havne't a problem hitting high 13's with that on your D series, then give me the remaining 5-6k and we'll both be happy

if i had 10k i would not blow it all on a turbo kit

take like 5k

around 2.5k custom kit
1.5k b16
1k pistons and rods

then make around 300whp

run 12's

then take that 5k extra put it into a good mutual fund and wait to see what happens with it by the time your 55.

have fun now, but even more in the future

^ priceless advice.. take it from those who have been there and regret... don't blow it all on your car.... there are tons of combo's that will get you in the high 12's for 5k just research for the best option to suite your driving habbits..

good luck!

5 grand will easily get you into the 13's if you do your research. but once you get there...you'll probably want the other 5 grand to get you to the 11's. once you get a taste of power...you'll always want more.

I'd rather have a POS parked in front of my house, than a Nice car parked out front of my apartment. It's kinda nice having a driveway to work on your broken *** car... But if your parents are cool and you live with them- be thankful and STAY THERE until you are are 40 years old!!!!!!!! Use your rent free time at home to SAVE up. Don't blow it like most of us do.

Sorry to go off topic, but these posts get me passionate. Now back to the car parts.

Invest in college

Or put that 10,000 grand into a investment portfolio, by the time your are ready to retire, you will have over a million dollars with ease...

Think of it like this, $10,000 in your car today, wreck your car a week later, where do you stand, DONT PUT IT ALL INTO YOUR CAR!
