Nice buy

A mate of mine has the Tommi Evo6, bought it new. Cost him the equivalent of about US$44,000

Nice car though!!

Man.. you suck panda boy! An Evo is next on my list and the way you keep rubbing those pictures on us, you deserve to be tortured that way you can feel the pain I'm suffering.

Good luck to you dood and if you're playing chess right now, that's a "checkmate"!

I have someone fixing up the minor problems in my Civic as I type (changing the hydraulic valves plus valve adjustments) - is there anywhere in the states where I can buy synchromesh for a B16A gearbox (namely 1st gear, 3rd gear, and 4th gear) as mine are dead, and I crunch evertime I change into those gears, even with the clutch fully pushed down)

About the evo 8 markups. Mistubishi has allready threatened dealerships with revoking their liscences if they mark up the cars.

Why is an Evo half the price of a type-r? Other than the geek factor of doing it on the motor, the EVO should outperform in every single category except for possibly tire life lol.

why tire life? its 4WD - unless you have a heavily modified engine, its quite hard to spin all four wheels off the line - not even my friend's 350HP evo 3 can do it! the only way you could possibly wear out the tire life quickly is if you do lots of power sliding, like Tiff does on BBC's TopGear

I was kinda eluding to the fact that the evo probably has the torque avaible to wear the tires. Boosted 4g63's are no joke in the tq department. I know my torque is 20% higher than the hp.

I'm having it fixed right now.. pistons have been replaced with more B20B oversize pistons, and they're setting up the engine for high compression.
