wire tuck/ hondata problem !!!
ok i wire tucked my race car and when trying to have it tuned hondata would not stay connected for more than 5 seconds. I was told that some power wires were setting off trigger wires not letting hondata stay connected. Have you guys run into this problem?? and what did you do to fix it? thanks guys
i did a tuck on my race car and when i went to get it tuned it would not run wit 1000cc injectors i tried 4 sets of injectors and 4 different resister boxes nothing and i threw some saturated 750 and it runs great but i need to get 1000 and i have no clue whats going on

Also make sure it is far away from ANY type of CDI style ignition. Connectivity problems will result if it is near any high power ignition box.

I would agree with this statement only if the person doing the tuck didn't extend & re-use the shielded/grounded wires that cam one the vehicle stock. There are at least 4 or 5 ground shielded wires that probably get neglected. That could definitely cause these problems.

Do you still have the stock harness or is your wiring completely custom?
If you still have the stock harness there should be a bit of ground shielded wires that you can use. My stock harness had lots and I'm reusing it all and extending some of it on the tuck that I'm working on right now. Most of it is only shielded coming through the fire wall to the ECU. But where you have done your own custom tuck job. You may have a power wire running next to a signal wire from further out into the bay???? You'll have to check what wires you have running next to each other.

^^ i used the stock harness and i did it myself and i don't recall removing any shielding and im thinking that the m&w may play a part in the noise also.
tomdata thanks for the negative comment

sorry buddy. not trying to be negative. its just that this keeps happening over and over again with wire tuck cars. I just don't understand why you guys do it?

100% Cosmetic. I think some of them "look" pretty good, But judging from alot of the questions asked on the thread, most guys doing them have NO IDEA about wiring.
You'll see the same few guys on the thread answering the same novice questions to 112323 different people.. Scary for the people/shops that at some point will have to trouble shoot these cars..
