I bought the car not 2 long ago and was told it had Neptune. Windows downloaded drivers which I have no idea where they are. So I downloaded the Neptune software and when I plug the usb up to the ecu nothin happens. Can anyone tell by the pics below what software was used? Im not trying to tune, im just tryin to do a diagnostic on the ecu cause I have a CEL. The CEL isnt affecting anything but I wanna see what it says.

 

There isnt anything that says what kind of software it is so im kind of clueless. Any help is appreciated

 

That's an older NepTune RTP system. Your serial number should be on the back side of the RTP. You'll need to enter that to get connected. Please feel free to view the Video Tutorials on our website.

 

Is the rtp on the back of the ecu cover or is it on the circuit board itself? Also does it just unscrew so I can get 2 it? This is all new 2 me so any help is appreciated

 

the board itself is the "neptune". Its what allows you to tune and datalog in real time by simply plugging in a usb cable. No burning chips necessary.

if whoever installed it did it per the instructions back then then there should be nylon bolts and nuts with washers underneath it securing the board to the cover

 

Yup, and if you take the nuts off to get the board off of the cover it should have your serial number on the back if they didn't provide it to you already. It starts with 07.
