Default Temp dependant Rev limiter

I have a b16a engine with a OBD0 pr3 ecu. It runs perfect all the way up to 8500 until the water temperature gets above 190 degrees. After it gets warmer than that it doesnt accelerate quite as fast and it sounds like there is a rev limiter at 7500 and I cant get the rpms above that until I turn the engine back off and get under 190 degrees then it works perfect again.

I do not have any check engine lights. I chipped the ecu with a base map from a b16 and then used the injector modifier to make up for the bigger injectors. I set the revlimiter at 8,500 and disabled everything I could: O2 sensor, knock sensor. I also disabled the check for the following before it hits vtec: VSS (which I dont have any), temp sensor, pressure switch, cel.

The modifications to the motor is Skunk 2 intake manifold, rc 320cc injectors, AEM fuel rail and regulator, dual valve springs, ported polished, camgears, and I put stock cams in it to try to get it to run normal and then I will put the stage 3 cams back in.

Please help. I need ideas?

tuning should take care of this problem.

lean or rich condition will supress power and rev capability.

I agree with what you are saying but if that is true then why at 185 degrees does it work great but at 195 degrees it doesn't? I also have tried burning another chip with a different program and I got the same results.

the ECU compensates for engine temp, all though your build isn't anywhere near wild enough that the ECT tables would be the far out.
are you sure that the ECT sensor is working properly?
which program are you using to chip the ECU?
did you set your voltage compensation table for the new injectors?

try re-enabling the O2, the ECU may be trying to tell you that the maps are way out, the ECU does use the ~185+ mark for closed loop operation. Even with closed loop disabled it still switches to other parameters in the tables.
