Well I got a chip from Phearable and he has bent over backwards trying to help me but my car never runs on his chips (he has sent me two now). But he is going to try giving me another new chip now scaled for 240cc injectors vs the 290cc he had on the previous tune when I thought I had stock injectors.... I am hoping that works because it will save me $600.

Either I don't understand, or the shop I'm talking to (Servion/Revolutions Performance Tuning) doesn't understand.... because I am trying to ask them for a chip... "single chip license version" or whatever for $100 I think both HRTuning and Phearable have both suggested to me.

There is no $100. They charge $175 for that option. Then $75 to install the damn thing. THEN, like I know I have said but it bears repeating: $350 to tune. I hope Jeremy reads this and sees how much of a RIPOFF that is... at least for someone like me who is seriously just struggling to get my car running right for the first time in its life.

I have never had a customer with so many issues.
I honestly wish I was going to colorado springs this year for mountain biking so I could tune your car for you!
Let me know how the new basemaps work.

I have the worst luck sometimes I wish you were coming to CO too haha I bet $600 would buy a plane ticket vs Neptune/Hondata @ the local ripoff shops lol

Can't wait to try the new basemaps Thanks again.

I tried the new chips John gave me! Well, I only tried one of them so far. It throws a Code 21 VTEC code though. I tried disconnecting the battery and resetting the ECU to try to clear it and start over. But it comes back again almost right away after starting the car. So it drives, but it's obviously in limp mode and won't go into VTEC. I checked oil level, and that's good. I've already replaced the oil pressure sender thingy for the VTEC solenoid, plus all the gaskets and screens.

I haven't tried the second chip John burned me, but I will. I had to put the craigslist tuner guy's chip back in so that it drives a little better.
