Default Serial Logging Anyone do it?

Has anyone used the serial logging straight from the wideband unit (in my case LC-1) directly to the laptop and used that to tune in the tuning software? Seems like that would be the most accurate way to tune, without needing to do offsets. I tried it in Neptune RTP and it works fine but the gauge is a little different so I don't know which one to trust (the gauge or serial output).

There's no offsets for serial data, so whatever it says via serial is what it's seeing at the wideband controller.

Use it all the time in eCtune and Neptune...best feature I ever got added to these two systems!

I also have implemented the serial logging from an aem uego by making a (d3?) connector from the (blue) data wire and a ground, logging afr via hyperterminal and evoscan when tuning evos on stock ecu.

Thanks guys, I'm going to just use that now. I always thought it was complicated to setup, but it was simple.

ZC or anyone else that has done this, can you post details on the setup. It's an excellent idea!

Basically all I needed to do is hook it up to my laptop like I would in the instructions (LC-1). Then in Neptune I set it up under preferences (says in Neptune what to do), then you just hit start serial logging and it's set. I wish I would of saw it a long time ago.
