Default S200 with CEL Problem

so just a little background on the situation...
The S200 was tuned with the CEL on for CYP sensor and was running beautiful up until a few months ago. It would start up without the CEL on and ten seconds or so later it would come on for the CYP code(9) and run fine being as that was the way it was tuned. Never had any problem with limp mode or anything such.

Now when i start the car up it starts up right away with the CEL on for CYP(9). and runs like crap almost as if it is not loading the tune for some reason.

when i put the Stock EPROM in the P28 it will idle and rev up fine but does not have my tune for boost.

Any insight into this problem is greatly appreciated as i dont know what to start to do in order to eliminate possible problems. Below is a brief list of the build . Let me know if i have to clarify anything to help.

also if i were to upgrade to an S300 would i be able to keep my current tune or would i have to get it re-tuned

Last I knew the maps between the s300 and s200 were not compatible, but that was several years back so maybe someone has come up with something since then. It sounds as if your s200 may be on its way out, have you double checked that all solders and circuits look good and solidly connected? Thats about the only thing I can think of is that a solder connection has worked loose or cracked with age.

If its an ECU problem check the solder points and for leaky capacitors on the circuit board. Resisters as well

I'm baffled. why would you boost a stock engine when you have a major trouble code?
You were lucky it wasn't stuck in limp mode to begin with. It's more likely that you actually have a CYP issue and the stock rom is just more lenient with you. But the S200 is also garbage.
Put the S200 in another ECU, in another car. If the same thing happens with someone else's car and ECU, throw that S200 away. Otherwise there's no way to confirm it's the S200. Either way you shouldn't be running any boosted engine with that kind of a problem.
