Default reliability?

Well im getting ready to get into the honda tuning again. Ive used turbo edit a few months ago and had random problems and never worked perfectly. Also I was using an inovativeLC1 wideband and it also gave me unreliable readings and never worked correctly.

Keep in mind the wideband was borrowed but worked for him"

Anyways my buddy just picked up a ej with a h22a that dont run yet mech. its all good blew bout a 220 on all cyl. dead on and timing was perfect and is original belt.

So a possible problem may come down to the ecu being shot. p13 is NOT cheap and it looks like the better option is to grab a p28 and send her to phearable for a base map. Now after that and lets assume i get her runnin like a champ all in spec and refreashed. What is the best tuning option buy chrome pro, ectune, or go for hondata instead. Lastly what is the most reliable wideband for street everyday use.AEM??

I just want to have a positive experience this time as far as get in and werk everyday with no holes or intermitteness! haha not my $ this time so it is FUNDED. He wants the best and has another vehicle so down time is not a problem. (unlike most my own builds)

I dont want to know the hearsay bout ectune being THE BEST or yeayea i heard this that.

What works. What is reliable. Whats the best entire set up to street tune good enough to bring it to the dyno ready for minimal fine tuning.

Point me in the right direction guys this is going to be my last stab at it before i give up and start going standalone only =microtech. Which takes TIME time time and lots more reading and researching haha.

If you want reliability? NepTune RTP or Hondata S300.

NepTune RTP + a wideband is all you need for reliable tuning and you'll save over S300. Actually, you can get the RTP and the wideband for $3 more than the retail price of an S300.

I'm not sure if you had the chance to do direct serial logging from your LC-1, but that's honestly the best route I've seen. PLX is also a very reliable wideband.

WOW neptune sounds like the solution! How is the "demon installed to the board? Is there anyone that sockets, adds the demon board and a basemap?

How is the support as far as getting different maps such as base maps of different ecus? I had problems just finding a pr4 base map with all rev limit etc. options enabled. No i cannot edit hexidecimal haha tried to start reading about it but i dont have that much spare time.

Ill honestly probly go with the PLX i might have had a bunk one or something but i was not diggin the stupid free air calibration set up.... annoying and really wordy confusing. Anyways keep the options coming.

So im guessing the one license only allows you to tune one ecu?
