Have b18b1 just changes all gaskets put back together and started for first time fired right up but rpms revved like I was hitting the gas and I wasn't at all so had to quickly shut off. I'm sure it's something minor but does anyone know what I could do? Please help!

 

check to make sure the throttle cable isn't holding the throttlebody open.

Make sure you completely tightened your intake manifold.

 

Ill check the intake manifold but the throttle body isn't stuck open I checked that.

 

Anything else I can check?

 

huge vacuum leak. there's no other way it can do that if the throttle is closed.

 

^ gurantee its a big vacumn leak, you got something back together wrong...
