reading 5volt lsu 4.9 sensors
Just wondering is it possible to read a Bosch lsu4.9 sensor with just one wire on the "wideband" controller as my controller only has one wire input but has the option for narrow band or 5 volt sensor
I am unsure what to do with the heater though ?
Any help would be appreciated thank you

I am to ashamed too even say but it's a defi advance zd style 10 in one guage but it has the option to select if you are connecting a 5volt or 1.2v sensor but only one wire is allocated to the air fuel option on the guage
OP, I'm confused as to what you're trying to accomplish. Are you just trying to display the AFR on your Defi unit? What wideband controller are you running? It seem like you might be trying to run straight from the sensor itself to your display, the answer in that case is no, it won't work.

He does not have a controller. He has a gauge and an LSU O2 sensor.
Never used one myself. Post up a link to what you have found and someone might be able to chime in on if it's worth it or not.

Well, you have an extra sensor now. Just make sure you get a controller that uses a 4.9. Most of the good ones are moving over from the 4.2 if they haven't already. It's an awesome sensor.
Sensor was bought to tune a simple 4.0litre ford straight 6 motor on stock internals all it'll make is 280rwkw n that's pushing to limit that's sad isn't it dual cam 4litre n that is all lol
I'm currently using one of mine to play around with an N/A push rod GM 3.4L 90*V6. I'll be lucky to hit 250WHP to the front wheels. They are a great sensor no matter what the engine.
So heater aside i can't just power the sensor then connect up the ref wire to this guage ?
I'm cheaper to ruin a sensor then to even do a single dyno power run here in Australia
