Default Radiator nipple stripped

I was replacing the radiator on my 98 Honda Accord and while putting the hoses on for the transmission cooler lines, the nipple on the radiator was stripped. Is there any way I can add new threads to the nipple or remove the nipple and replace it with another one. It's such a shame that I'd be out a $130 radiator by an easily stripped nipple. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

If all else fails, you could always add an aftermarket oil cooler. Might be more trouble than it's worth though for $130 radiator.

sounds painful. I think you should be able to figure something out. What does it look like?

I thought about the aftermarket cooler but I don't think it's worth it. I am going to try to exchange the radiator first. atp if I can't exchange it tomorrow I will post a picture of the part I'm talking about.

What's the right forum?
