Default Question

Ok, so someone asked me about this, and I have no idea.

Specs:
-H22A
-OBDII to OBDI conversion harness
-S300
-Garrett T3/T4 @ 10lbs
-440cc injectors

The car was originally tuned without vtec and has been running fine. Now the guy tuning his car is trying to tune it with vtec switched on, and every time vtec hits, the car misfires. (as in constant, not just 1 miss and it's fine). They tried another S300, and it did the same thing.

Is there something stupid they may have missed, or does this guy not know what he's doing? Any ideas on another tuner near Philly, if the latter is the case?

go to evans tuning or tell the tuner to look at the fuel values when he enters vtec. it sounds like a "vtec table's too rich" problem.
