Default Possible tunning problem

I have an issue with my boosted b20, beleive it is a tuning issue, but not positive, any advice would be appreciated. I'll start from the beginning. I built my motor about a year ago. After the swap install, and everything plugged in and hooked up, motor had an idle surge, car started and ran ok but the warmer the car got, the worse the surge got until it would die completly. Took it to get tuned on chrome and he fixed the idler surge problem within a minute of tweeking with the maps. A while back i was out racing and the stews on my fpr came loose causing fuel to be sprayed everywhere. I pulled over, tightened the screws and called it a night. Well the only problem was that my motor was surging again, thought that the fuel could of maybe ate through a vacuum line or screwed up a gasket. After checking everything, pulled out wiring harness and inspected it, went over all vacuum lines and gaskets, and repaired my ficv(plastic screw inside came completly out) the idle surge was still there. Don't know too much about tunning but I do know that Crome sucks *** after doing my research. But I don't know if a tune can be thrown off like that. I know that it is chipped into the ecu. Will someone help me figure this out. I'm going to get tuned with ectune in the near future but need some advice so I can get it running in the mean time.

No way to be sure without seeing the car running and surging. I have notice when the gas stations move to their winter blend, the fuel tends to change the tune and with low temps even in the 50's the whole tune goes out of wack. I have a winter blend street tune just for the cold months prior to my retune I had surges in every gear around 3-5k mainly at cruising speeds hope this has been helpfull

sounds like you need to save your money on the tunes and find a competent mechanic. crome will work just fine but it wont work miracles on car that doesn't run properly to begin with. please fix any CEL's you have and go from there.
