p73 ectune
I am trying to boost my ITR with stock internal.
is that ok for me to chip my p73 ecu with ectune chips or is that better that i buy a chipped p72 ectune ?
anyone can estimate how much would it cost to chip the ecu and get it tuned?
thanks

boosted stock ITR = :-/ Be very very careful.
you can't chip a P73, only OBD1 ECUs. You'll need to comvert to OBD1 with an adapter harness. (no more passing emissions testing)
eCtune is a great program, but boost has to be handled with kids gloves with the compression of the ITR engine. Tuning is key.
price, seriously depends on where you are and how much time you spend tuning.
(more time usually means better tune)
Price around in your area for dyno time. Don't be shoked at numbers of $250+ for a hand full of hours.
Also, since it sounds like you don't have a tuner in mind, call around, talk to the tuners with a good reputation that are willing to tune your car, Pick the one you want to go with and find out what program they prefer. If they like it better, they will be able to work with it better and faster, which means less money out of your pocket...
