Default P28 D16Y8 HELP

I've recently decided to install a chipped p28 on a stock d16y8. However the car runs terribly. It accelerates slow, it wastes a lot more fuel and the car shakes a lot. It does have a y8 basemap.

Before I installed it, I've been told I needed a new throttle position sensor. With that being said, i told my tuner exactly this and he said once I replace the tps, the car should work fine. Is this true? Because I've also read that p28s don't run well with stock y8s. Any help would be appreciated. as a side note, my 2step sounds a lot different than my friends 2step (he however drives a dc5) any reason why?

Whats wrong with the original ecu that you had to get a chipped p28 with the exact same basemap?

Put the original ecu back in and see if it does this, by doing this you can rule out if the p28 is the issue.

I still dont know why people are consistently brain washed on P28 ECUs when they dont need a 28 map.

Guess another one learns the hard way. Your "tuner" is just there to take your money. Trust me.

It actually runs a bit better now with the p28. I switched back to the stock one and it ran even worse. I'm in the process of cleaning the iacv and will see if it will run back to normal
