P06 in D16z6

P06 in D16z6
Hey guys so i have a d16z6 in my del sol, but i still got the P06 from the d15b7 ECU (P06)
And i need to know if that will make me fail SMOG check? there's no CEL or anything.
I dont wanna go and just fail the test.. lol
can i use that ecu untill i get the p28?

cali smog - yes you will fail. (as far as I know)
pretty much every other state - you're fine.
the P06 will run the Z6 fine, but you will not have VTEC.
Get a P28 and do it right.
