I searched but can not find anything on how to convert an automatic p06 ecu to a 5 speed... anybody know where i can find this info?

 

Remove rp18 and rp17 and jump rp18.

 

you didn't search very well. I've posted this info at least once a month for the past few years. Pictures included in some of the posts.

mtber hit it right on the head. If you can solder well it takes 5 minutes.
