Default OBD2A Diagnostic question

Will the prescence of aftermarket camshafts, High comp pistons, etc affect a stock ecu primarily used for passing obd2 diagnostc tests?

You may get CEL codes for knock (if they are forged pistons) and possibly Crankshaft Position due to the uneven rotation with high lift cams/ loping/ etc..

What kind of diagnostic tests are you referring to?

Im reffering to the annual inspection tests that post 96 cars have to take, the kind where they plug into the ecu under the dash.
