Default obd2 vs obd1

hi i have obd2 and want to start tuning is there anything i can use or do i have to got obd1 conversion

What engine setup do you have ?
What plans do you have for the vehicle ?

The only real tuning solutions are all obd1 based. Read over http://www.phearable.net/tech/efibeginnerguide.html

i hav 96 intergaa ls obd2a i think obd1 is good first step to make fast car
i wan 2 put a b16 vtec head no later

i know all about vtec. i want to kno if i put a p75(non vtec) obd1 ecu can i chip it and use the same ecu with a vtec head. i couldnt find it on google so just tell me.

You can convert it to be a vtec ecu if needed.

actually i did look it up. the only thing i found was a dead link to the pgmfi wiki. well i asked my friend and he told me i could with a little soldering... thanks 4 tha help!
