o2 sensor cuts out

o2 sensor cuts out
can anyone explain how isthis happening?
its not on my Honda but on my Toyota truck
with every start I get either no O2 sensor output from both it shows sero on ultragauge.
sometimes the upstream sensor shows nothing but downstream seems to have correct output.( stable voltage)
sometimes both of them work and show voltage.
they are both about a year old NTK sensors. that's why im kinda suspicious of electrical issue not bad sensors.
