Default neptune question

Just bought Neptune from a kid and on his car it did not have any CEL,s. On my R it does and I did not have any CEL,s. It was tuned on a 96 Prelude and I have a 2000 R. Wondering if I can download Neptune Software form the net.

There are only a few people in the country who tune with NEPTUNE. The closest tuner to you is T1 Race Development located in Dallas, TX. NEPTUNE is generally not a good item to purchase used. There is no tuning software available on the internet for NEPTUNE.

There are plenty of people who tune with Neptune, just look up the "authorized dealers" on the hrtuning website (that JR linked to in his post). Theres nothing wrong with buying a used RTP system, as long as everything works with the hardware you'll be fine.

I beleive that you can download the software off the hrtuning site for free, you just need the serial number off the back of the RTP system and input it into the software (in "preferences") to be able to actually start tuning with the RTP system.

It could just be that his .cal has an option selected that your ecu/car doesn't have and now you're getting a CEL.
