I have a 89 hatch with a mild built jdm b16 its running off a pr3 it wont rev past 7000 cold or 7500 hot my tach on my apexi jumps so quick from 7000 to 7500 it might be hitting the rev limiter a 7300 I have done some research and talked to alot of people but nobody can figure out how to make this thing rev to 8500 I have checked the numbers on the ecu its a jdm pr3 and one of the boards in has MT on it

 

I did some more reserch my speedo cable twisted in half so im thinking its a VSS problem I checked for codes and I have a 17. Vtec still comes on but its hooked up to the vfac. but theres no voltage comeing out of the ecu to engage vtec
