Default Need help identifying ECU and checking it

I just purchased a pre-chipped "P28" ECU off of craigslist, and I have a few concerns. After a little investigation (and the fact that there is no number on the ECU) I believe it is a P05. I've read about the chipping process and some of the components on the ECU board don't quite match the descriptions I've been reading of. I would greatly appreciate it if a more experienced member took the time to check over these concerns real quick.

1 - There is a resistor that is in a vertical position. On the underside of the ECU, it appears that the resistor was added. Leave it or remove it?

2 - The two points are bridged by a small bare wire. Is this stock?

3 - I don't understand what is going on here. I've never seen of this in all the research i've done. Does this serve a purpose or can it be removed?

4 - The resistor on the J12 point is removed. I've read that this is correct, but I want to make sure.

5 - I just want to be sure that all components are in their correct place and everything looks clean.

6 - There are two circled transistors and they both appear to have been either replaced or added. What do I do with these?

I purchased this ecu and an OBD2B to OBD1 jumper harness to convert my 1999 honda civic EX coupe D16Y8 to OBD1. Is this a good set up? will everything work? Thank you for your time and I appreciate your efforts on helping out a beginner.

That ecu is a p06 ecu some one converted to vtec by adding the components you have circled. It isn't the cleanest job I have seen but it likely works...
From the picture it appears that everything is where it needs to be.

It may also be a P05 converted to P28..

The OP stated that in circle #6 there are TWO transistors that look to have been added. This most likely is the common Q26 on "1720" boards as well as Q30 (for converting from 1 wire to 4 wire O2 heater circuit)

Either way.. looks like everything is in the proper place as stated above...

Your reply was pointless. The ecu appears to have everything installed that is needed...
If its a p06 or p05 who really cares? Its converted & appears to have everything in place for proper function.

Trying to get your post count up ? lol

It was a P05 and I think it was worth mentioning since the OP was very thorough and specifically mentioned thinking it was a P05. This gives him confirmation that he was right.

p05 p06 same thing besides the transistor at q30 for o2 heater.

Lets be even more specific! It is a 1720 board 37820-p05-a0* i.e. Manual ecu out of a 92-95 civic cx
My post count just went up!

thanks for all your time. I found out for sure today it was indeed a p05 converted to p28.

I have another question: This ecu came out of the 92 hatch cx with the jdm d15b, and he got it chipped for the turbo set up. So what do I need to do to put this in my 99 civic with the d16y8? Its all stock.

You need to have the chip re-burned by a local tuner or you can order a new chip with a tune on it for your d16y8 from any of the vendors on the honda-tech vendors section.

Don't worry James, mtber just enjoys arguing with me...

As for mtber, pretty sure it wasn't pointless as this was in my PM inbox:
