Default lm1 placement and usage..

just curiouse but im hooking up my lm1 wideband with my RTP. Would it be better to have the wideband running at all times or only when im tunning the car..

I would run it at all times so you can simply plugin to it & make changes or logs at any time.

so if i was going to run it at all times would i just replace my stock o2 with the wideband sensor??then how would i hook up my lm1?

If you want to run closed loop with Neptune, the LM1 has two configurable outputs.

Set output one to replicate a narrowband and wire that to D14 (O2), set output two to be a wideband output (0-5v) and wire that to D10 (ELD)

Now you can log Wideband and still use stock closed loop functionality.

if i dont want to run closed loop and i only want to run my wideband at all times in place of the stock o2 i would just want output one to the d14(o2) correct?

It doesnt really matter with Neptune, the ELD is a true 0-5v input...the O2 input only reads to 3.14 volts or something around there.

so can i hook the output to the eld without having to remove the resistors and am i still able to run my wideband sensor at all times being hooked up to the eld???

are you guys saying i can hook my lm1 to my rtp? i didnt think you could, how would i go about this, will i be able see a/f ratio then threw the rtp? please help me out on this

my analogs out cominging from the lm1 is red wire, white and an uninsulated ground, Which is output 1 and output 2??
