Kpro v4 02-04 RSX ECU...boost control?
Hey everyone. I'm swapping a K24 into a 05 Mini Cooper and I'm now looking into my ECU choices. The harness I have is based off of an 02-04 RSX, so I know I'll need a Kpro ECU for one of those. However, one thing I am stumped on is should I choose a PPA, PND, PNF, or PRB for my swap if I plan on going turbo in the future? Does it not matter? I was looking at the hybrid racing website and it mentioned something about the PRB having boost control within Hondata. Does that mean the other versions (PPA, PND, PNF) don't support boost control and I have to get the PRB?
Thanks for any insight. Also as a side note, if anyone knows a place I can get the ECU for cheaper than Hybrid Racing that would be much appreciated.

If you are using a 5-speed transmission, you can use any of the above mentioned ECU's. If, however, you intend to use a 6-speed transmission... the PRB ECU natively has the circuit pathway to activate the reverse lock-out solenoid on the transmission so that one cannot accidentally shift the car into reverse while moving forward at speed. The PND ECU has an intake runner control circuit that can be re-purposed to control the reverse lock-out solenoid, but some wiring has to be altered in the engine harness to correct the function.
The other two ECU's have no provision to actuate the reverse lock-out solenoid on a 6-speed transmission. As for boost control: ALL ECU versions mentioned can be utilized to operate an electronic boost control solenoid.
