Someone knows what's inside the AiM interface for kpro and his cluster?

I want to know if kpro serial output through E24 pin is a rs232 but with 12v logic levels so with only cheap logic level converter from 12v to 3.3/5v we can connect it directly to an Arduino or a Raspberry.



The AiM converter seems too big for being only a level converter but it's still possible, anyone know something?

Yes, I have read that some times but they don't say how to transform that digital 12v signal to common rs232 levels (3.3/5v) and if you only need to do that or there is something I missing in order to receive that signal to a microcontroler by it's serial port.

 

You will need to contact AIM for info on that.

 

it's an option but don't think they would reveal his "secrets"
