JDM ecu.....?...?....?.....
OK..... My friend has a 93 civic Si hatch... I have a 93 del sol Si.... same motor. He told me he found a JDM Si ECU on ebay that was suposed to Add like 15 more horse.. Is this true or would I be better off getting the things I want for my car like... Intake, Header, and Exhaust. Then getting it tuned??????
ok let me make sure it makes sense...... I want intake header and exhaust either way... what mean is would I be better off just getting a tune or the ECU that is suposed to add 15 horse?
Nothing that easy is going to give you 15 hp. If the motor were moderately modified, you MIGHT see that much increase with an extensively tuned standalone. But not a factory calibration. The factory tuners have to run conservative maps so that their bosses don't get smothered with warranty claims.

First of all Thank you for all your feed back... No I can't post a pic of it .... I honestly couldn't find one my self so it would make sense that its not true and isn't out there lol.. So I will just stick with getting a tune after I get my stuff. Thanks again guys!
no need for a tune after those simple bolt-ons. if u had it tuned it would be hard for them to get anything. uhh. ur car will notice the differences in temp and flow. hope this helps.
