How to tell ecu

So I bought a swap off a guy and the ecu doesn't have a label........

Anyway to tell what it is??

Open it up. Look at the number on the processor. Check it against the info in the Rom area of wiki.pgmfi.org.

Most likely it's been converted and chipped, so what it WAS doesn't matter anymore anyway.

Alright thanks! And yeah already been tampered with suppose to have a "type r tune" what ever that's suppose to mean...
