Default G23 basemap needed

I'm new to this forum and am looking for some help. I just put together a "g23" engine and am looking for a basemap to help me. I am using a stock f23 block and stock h23 head. I have a chipped p28 and am using crome to tune. I tried using my stock h23 basemap but it would run. I tried a few other maps but no luck. I'm hoping someone has a map I could use to start with and tweak if needed. Thanks for your help.

An H23 or F23 base map should be more than enough to get you up and running well enough to tune.

What seems to be the problem when you are running the H23 map?

I tried running my stock h23 map and it started surging like a was missing a vacuum line. I went through it and checked everything. It was all connected and in the correct locations. I redid the timing just to be sure. It still doesn't idle smoothly just revs from about 700 up to about 1100 and back down. I messed with the distributor timing to see if that changed anything and also the idle control screw on the throttle body. Nothing seems to work. I tried driving it around the block and it doesn't really accelerate even though I'm flooring it. So I was hoping someone had a map that I could try that's been tuned a little bit not a stock map like I'm currently running. Thanks for responding.

Check your TPS and MAP sensor connections, these can be switched and overlooked. The car will run with them switched, but not properly. Just something to check.

I will have a look and see if I have a tune for a G23 in my files. Any of the ones I would have would have been for the H22 head on an F23 bottom end though. I don't recall that they were all that different from stock except for adding VTEC, which you don't need.

I tried a new TPS sensor thinking that was an issue but didn't change anything. The map sensor has a different plug then my TPS so I know they're not backwards (thankfully). I appreciate you looking for me.

What chassis is this going into?

What type of MAP sensor are you using?

It's a 93 accord sedan using the stock map sensor. I had a stock h23 in it before with no issues until I tried this g23

I went through the whole harness and double checked everything and it's all in the right place. I'm just going to get a new block and start over. Thanks for your help though.

Hey if you're still active I'm just wondering if you figured out the issue along with if you have the basemap still? Thank you!
