Default fuel maps

fairly new to tuning hondas but not tuning. had a question about when people buy new injectors where do u go about setting up ur fuel maps? do the companies give u the supplied numbers needed and u just do the math or do u need to be apart of the elite club of tuners and have friends that can hook u up?

all help is appreciated

We need a lot more info. Are you using a standalone? Are the injectors peak-and-hold, or saturated?

If you have the fuel map tuned and you run over 80% duty cycle (Honda factory injectors will actually go a bit higher and still be reliable), then you calculate how much of a bigger injector you need and calculate whether you will still be open more than 2mS at idle at your target afr. I figure you already know this but you didn't give us any details to whether you actually need bigger injectors or not.

On any decent programmable EMS, you can scale the fuel map by the increased injector size. You'll still need to do a little fine tuning to get it perfect again, but it scaling the map will get you very close.

All that you need to know is the flow rate of the injectors. I.e. 1000cc
Other then that you will need to know if they are low or high impedance.

Concerning the fuel map, fuel trims etc, that is all setup by the tuner in the hondata Smanager calibration.
