Default Emissions Dummy ECU

I tried searching but didn't find much, if anyone has a link or two covering this, let me know. I'm modding my GSR which is obd2, it'll need to be tuned via Hondata. My state requires OBD based emissions and I'm looking to modify a "dummy" ecu and have it as the one that gets read, and pretty much tricks the computer into showing no faults, and all sensors ready. I know those ecus can be chipped with a ghetto method and using WOM chips. Anyone do anything similar to this? Maybe chip teh ecu to no faults, and run power to it?

This isn't possible as the ECU will need to read all sensors and verify OBD2 operation in order to show a "no fault" status. It is possilbe to 'chip' an OBD1 ECU to bypass several sensor tests/fault codes, but OBD2 ECU's aren't chippable in the same manner.

So how do people get through emissions? Anyway to trick that reader into being normal?

For cars that must be OBD2 compliant, you will need to properly smog your car (ie: fix your non compliant problems), or "find another way" to "smog" it.

I feel like with my build it won't pass on the swapped back in ecu. Look like I'll need a special inspection lol. Thanks for your help. Will be looking into a s300 package soon
