Default Degreeing cams

Hi guys I'm trying to degree a set of Brian Crower cams on a B18c. They are BC0013 cams. Max lift is 12.60mm. They guy that built the head has already set the valve lash. With a dial gauge on the valve spring retainer it's reading only 11.30mm of lift. Is this because I should be degreeing the cam from 0.00mm lash? Thanks

The guy that built the head supplied the cams and set the valve lash to suit them.

you should redegree them again to make sure that everything is right.
tips:
make the lash @ 0.000 lash when degreeing peakleft.
make the lash @ what the cams company sayes when going to degree to opening and closing volve.
