CTR s300 base map
Hi, my friend droped a valve on his previous motor b16a civic (rally car). So he bought a CTR motor b16b with stock everything except header and intake. I need to put a map on this motor before the weekend. On the s300 preloaded base maps there is a ITR map would this be ok to use? His previous map was tuned for Skunk Pro2's with 11:1 Cr so that is not usable. Rally is comming up this weekend and dont have time to go to tuner. what would you suggest. will anything from the preloaded base maps suffice?

I don't have SManager loaded at work so I can't open the file to tell you, but that should be the one. I didn't have problems starting with the other basemap.
The ITR map will be quite fine... I've used it to start my stock B16B motor.. The ITR map is for the USDM ITRs if my memory serve me correctly.. Just monitor your A/F ratio with a wideband gauge to make sure everything is fine...
ok motor is in. almost finished running it in. I loaded the ITR map and set the timing synchronised the dizzy with the ecu to 16degrees before TDC then calibrated TPS readings. The car accelarates ok to the redline. its a bit slughish down low in the rpm and the vtec engagement point is very agressive. Im trying to get this car put on a dyno in the morning. The car accelerates to 8000rpm with no smoke exiting the rear but when the throttle is let off from high rpm. Its throws out a puff or black/white smoke. If i cant get on dyno ill have to take my aem uego off my own car and datalog.

ok put the car on dyno dynamics this morning. the afr is 12 (+-.7). The is down a little on power a stock CTR on this dyno puts down 163 flywheel hp. There has been up to 15 CTR's on this road and they all read around 163Fhp. this car put down 148. It was not tuned on this occasion. But the lack of power is more than likely because of the ignition timing on the USDM ITR map. Anyways car will be rallied this weekend. Then the pro2 will be going in monday,(waiting on valve springs) and off for a tune. thanks
