chrome on a DD
Planning possible d16z6 high compression build up aiming for around 200hp. Ive used turbo edit and hp tuners a little bit so im...."sort of tune savy.
Question is if chorme is able to run my build reliably. Obviously there will be kinks and the usual finiky stuff.
Will it always be in open loop mode? Does this affect drivability long term as in need to tune again for different weather? Gas milage?
If you can which i think is option'd in closed loop mode wont it throw cel.....or does it only use o2 input and ignore (evap)
??? just trying to figure out how others do it really like to hear some set ups wether chrome/neptune/hondata blaaablaa

You will have trouble getting 200 whp on a D series in daily driver trim...
But yes, you can use Crome. Crome has options within the software to select open loop or not. If you have a decent wideband with simulated narrowband input, you can run this into the O2 input on your ECU and continually tweak your closed loop settings until it is right. Just to warn you, Crome has lots of bugs, etc. I'd highly recommend just going with a better system from the start like Neptune RTP or Hondata S300 to save you some headaches.
