Just bought a 1999 Accord EX-L V6 a month ago. Driving home from an errand today& the check engine light came on. Any general suggestions on what I need to check specifically?

 

Find the code and go from there.

 

Just go to somewhere like Advanced Auto or Autozone and have them use their diagnostic tool to check your vehicle. It will display the code number and the type of condition that is causing it to occur, then you can use your best judgement from there to fix the problem.
