b16 throttle body help

where do the vacume hoses go

It might help if you had specific hoses or gave us atleast the car and what motor you are working with.

As obd0 b16 and obd2/obd1 b16 tbs are a little different.

sorry my jdm b16 p30 throttle body does not have a map on top of it just 2 hoses where do they connect on a 97 usdm civic del sol s d16 model

The larger of the two goes to the charcoal canister.

The smaller one goes to the map sensor, you might have to take one off of another car or find one from an OBD0 civic.

You can use the stock civic sensor, just zip tie the little hose onto it.

Sure. You could use say an LS throttle body on there which has the map sensor on top of it.

As long as it has the map sensor on the top, it should work. I haven't taken many of them off so I am not 100% on that one.

But if you need to pass inspection i would try to keep as much of the emissions stuff as possible intact.

the original charcoal canister has 3 nipples which one goes to the top of the T.B.
