Default Air temp sensor needed on OBDI?

My 98 hatch has a Type R swap in it with a chipped P28 and OBDII to OBDI conversion, I noticed when putting my AEM intake on that it doesn't have the air temp sensor anywhere? Do the OBDI ECU's need this input?

Yes, unless you don't want it to be properly fueled when the temperature varies or heat soak occurs.

Simply change the IAT plug on your 98 ek harness to an obd1 style and wire it to the sensor in the intake manifold.

I figured it needed one, I'm new to the Hondas but not new to the EFI engine management tuning. I didn't realize the IAT was located in the manifold, if thats the case I think its already hooked up. The swap was done when I bought the car so I'm not sure what was done though. Anyone got a pic of the location of the sensor so I know where to look?
