What is your setup, goals, etc ? AEM EMS has a lot of great features but you might not ever use them

AEM is better, but only worth it if you need the additional features. Ask your tuner to tell you - specifically - what the AEM does that he can't do with Hondata. Sometimes tuners have a management bias based on familiarity.

Best of luck with your project.

Is the tuner selling you the AEM? You could get a lot of goodies with the 800 bucks you would save with the S300. You really need to find out why he is so set on the AEM. I have the S300 and theres features on it I don't use, for a lot of applications a S100 is enough. Think seriously about what your goals are as alpha said.Theres no need to spend 1400.00 when 200.00 or 600.00 for ems would be enough.

I would seriously consider someone else. If you are going to just tune it (kind of set it and forget it)and not make changes often a S100 will be enough but if you want to make changes, have high/low boost maps, datalog the S300 is the way to go,also there are other systems out there but I personally am a Hondata guy.

You don't need an aem ems for your application.
If the tuner can't handle a hondata system, find one that can.

So he can tune with AEM and not Hondata? Hondata is easier than AEM to mess with.
