Default Aem series 1 ems

I know I know it's a old ems but I have it and it works but I have a few questions I would like to know if anyone has hooked up a ethanol sensor to the inputs to get a realtime reading? If so what did you do or use to make it work. Also when I was moving some wires under my dash my wideband came unwire and I forgot what input pins I can use. Any help with that would be much appreciated as well

What AEM box do you have, I can tell you what pin out is for the wide band.

As for ethanol sensor, you can hook up to spare input and go by voltage ( setup table for voltage to output maybe in options ? )

the series 2 boxes received the ethanol sensor plug n play update.

Nothing wrong with series 1 boxes they work great

With a series 1 unit, you will only be able to get voltage reading for Ethanol sensor. In order to actually see content value, you will need to data log the input channel and convert the raw voltage data to read how you would like to see it.

I'd have to go look at my car ( I store it away from my house) and see the numbers on the box I haven't really looked at it much lately.
I think I'm almost better off buyying this kit this to just watch and always know what it's at Zeitronix ECA-2 Ethanol E% Content Analyzer Kit with Red Display Gauge - MAPerformance

Pin for the Wideband is D14. You can't wire a normal ethanol content sensor in as it will be frequency based and not voltage. You would have to get the Zeitronix gauge which will output a voltage and log it with that. Than create a math channel in your log to convert it to what you ethanol content is.
