Default AEM Jumper setting question.

What does the JPC1 jumper actually do? I know it is for the ignition driver output but what is the do the different positions actually do?

Sets the coil output for rising or falling edge trigger. JPC1 indicates coil output #1, and so on.

My next question is what jumper setting correspondeds to rising/falling? I want to run this igniter which uses rising edge.

It depends on what ems box you are using. If you look at the instruction manual for your particular box, it will tell you what the coil outputs are from AEM (rising or falling). There are two possible positions for the jumpers, if the box is rising from AEM, move the jumper position and it will be set to falling. its pretty straight forward.

If you use a CDI ignition box (which you should be), you dont need an ignitor. You can fire to the trigger wire right from the coil output from the ems box.
