Default AEM Help

I am having a very strange issue. Car has a tuned map with 240cc injectors that ran well on the car before I decided to do another build. I still have the 240cc injectors now in the car just to get the car up and running. Setup consist of 84mm GS-R COP, CBR coils, crank sensor /cam trigger sensor ATI Race dampener and CTR cams. The car will start up fine and idle perfect when cold. Once the car ECT gets to 160 degrees the car begins to misfire and idle gets lumpy. When giving the car gas it continues to sputter. The only thing I have not done is sync the timing. I am not experienced with AEM so just need a few suggestions as what could it be if it’s not to related to a timing issue. I have been having issues trying to sync the timing because I am not getting an accurate reading. The timing is jumping all over the place. The car starts running bad when it gets to operating temp. Ign Phasing is set as listed below.

Ignition Sync 1.53
Pickup Delay 150.00
ign tooth 01 12.00
ign tooth 02 6.00
ign tooth 03 18.00
ign tooth 04 0.00

I would appreciate any help. Thanks

#1. Configure > ECU Setup > set ignition
If this is off, you'll never know what your timing is and that's not a good thing. Fire it up and shoot it with a light, it's quick, easy, and the first thing you should do anyway. If it's jumping "all over the place", something in the global set-up isn't correct. Have you tried the 'Cam/Crank Sensor Wizard'?

#2. Check your fuel trim template and confirm that you are not relying on a 'trim' or enrichment function. 160 is where a lot of the trims will start dropping off and if you're relying on one, it makes sense for the car to run like crap after it's warmed up and that enrichment is gone.

At operating temp., you should be running off the primary fuel map with little to no intervention from trims. +/-5% for O2 feedback should be about it. The only exception would be if you had a 'boost comp' based tune.

I truely hope you meant ECT and not IAT being 160*. Thats pretty high for IAT and if thats the case, then datalogs are the only way to tell what is happening at that temp.

If you you meant ECT,then refer to the above post.

I was able to get the timing set to 18 degrees, finally but I am still having issues. Everything else looks right to my eyes, but I am sure its something is still incorrect. Here is my calibration file and log file. Can someone look it over and see if there is something they can recommend. Thanks to the other poster for help also.

I unplugged the ECT and let the car warm up. As soon as it gets warm it start acting up again. Misfire and lumpy idle. As some one stated maybe it leaning out, but AFR shows that it is not. I'm stumped.
