Default AEM - disconnected battery for a while, now having problems

Have an aem series 2 ems and I disconnected the battery for a while because the cold killed the last battery. Now the motor wont go past 2k rpms... almost like the rev limiter is on and then the engine loses power completely and engine overheats... could the unit have lost the tune or should I be looking elsewhere?

No the tune should stay. Look into fuel delivery.
