hi im using a msd 2 step launch control.. last week i had a rpm pill 5500, which runs fine.. reads 5,500 everytime on the rpm..

after a couple of days it reads at 4,500 on the tach!!! i've tried other pills such as 6k 6,5 reads accurately.. the only problem is a 5500 pill.

what could be the cause for this? can i still repair this? i don't have any more pills because i bought it in sets..

a friend told me i can use resistors and solder an aluminum extension for attachment. can anyone enlighten me on this. thanks!
