Ok so my new to me GSR engine keeps on surprising me. Ive spent the past week replacing gaskets and components before I swap it into my RS. Like a lot of Vtec engines I noticed oil all around the Solenoid so I ordered the proper gaskets and started to remove it from the the engine. Well to my surprise when I removed the top portion (spool valve I believe ) It had more red rtv than gasket so the prior owner redneck engineered his own gasket. While looking at it I also noticed that it looks to be missing a piece that connects to the rod inside the assembly. So instead of buying a whole new part I was wondering if the part in the listed picture is universal with any other vtec solenoids. If it is I have two pull a parts nearby so I could probably find it.

So Ill answer my own question... I went to my local pull a part and pulled one from a 92-95 civic and one from a I think a 97 accord. Both fit perfect and are exactly the same.

Can any one send me the dimension for this little piece cuz mine is missing and couldn't find it in my area. if any one can send me the dimension I will try to make it myself.
