I have a b18a1 with a bore of 30 over high compression pistons 12-1 compression it will have Brian crower 404 cams and I also need to know a good gasket to run in it thanks so much
crower 404 stage 3 cams and I need to know what the valve clearance needs to be
You should clay the motor to get a truly accurate valve-to-piston gap. But if you want to be safe then I guess a triple layer. The question seems weird to me, ive never read anyone asking piston to valve clearance ask which head gasket to use.It should go without saying, a single layer gasket will leave the pistons closer to the valve and a triple layer will give you a couple MM's more clearance.
Off topic question but what valve springs are you going to run with your cams? What is the max lift on those cams?
